Terms of Sale and Use

These terms apply to vSMS on the web (www.vsmsapp.com) and to the credits you buy here. By creating an account or buying credits you accept them.

1. The service

vSMS lets you rent a temporary phone number or e-mail address for a short time to receive a verification code. Numbers and addresses come from third-party networks. We cannot guarantee that a given app accepts them or that a code arrives; when none does, your credits come back (see the Refund policy).

2. Eligibility

You must be 17 or older and able to enter into a contract where you live.

3. Acceptable use

Use vSMS only for lawful purposes, such as keeping your real number private when signing up to a service whose terms allow it. You will not use it to bypass identity or fraud checks on platforms that forbid temporary numbers, to create accounts for fraud, harassment or spam, to receive codes that are not lawfully yours, or to resell or automate the service. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

4. Credits and prices

• Credits are sold in packs. The price of each pack is shown before you pay and charged by our payment processor, Stripe.
• Credits are a prepaid balance usable only for vSMS services, on the web and in the vSMS iPhone app. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Credits do not expire while your account exists.
• Each number or address shows its price in credits before you order it.

5. Delivery and your right of withdrawal

Credits are digital content delivered to your account as soon as your payment is confirmed. When you pay, you expressly ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the credits are delivered (French Consumer Code, article L221-28 13°). This does not affect your right to a refund in credits when a code never arrives, nor any statutory right that cannot be waived.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it.

7. Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Danger zone. Deleting it removes your balance and history permanently. We may close an account that breaches these terms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform and you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
