Sign up for TikTok without giving out your number.
TikTok asks for a phone number or an e-mail address when you create an account, then sends a code to it. vSMS gives you a temporary one for that code, so your personal number and inbox stay off the app.
No code? Your credits come back automatically.
Two ways to get your TikTok code.
TikTok accepts either. A temporary e-mail address is the simplest route: switch vSMS to E-mail, copy the address, and the code TikTok sends shows up in vSMS. If you'd rather use a phone number, stay on Number, choose a country, and use the number on TikTok's phone sign-up screen.
Temporary e-mail
Use the address in TikTok's sign-up form, and the code it sends appears in vSMS.
Temporary number
Pick a country, use the number in TikTok, and the text with the code appears in vSMS.
Your TikTok code in three steps.
Get an address or a number
In vSMS, pick TikTok, then E-mail or Number. For a number, choose the country too.
Enter it in TikTok
On TikTok's sign-up screen, choose e-mail or phone, paste what vSMS gave you and ask for the code.
Copy the code
The code appears in vSMS. Type it into TikTok to finish. If none arrives in time, your credits come back.
Good to know before you start.
- Get the address or number in vSMS first, then ask TikTok for the code, so the code lands while it's open.
- If a number gets no code, try again: each try is a new number. A country rated High in the country list is the best next pick.
- Set a password on your TikTok account before you finish, so signing back in never depends on a new code.
