Get your Facebook code without your own number.

Facebook confirms a new account with a code sent to the mobile number or e-mail address you give it. vSMS gives you a temporary address or number for that one code, so your own details stay out of it.

No code? Your credits come back automatically.

Number or e-mail?

Two ways to get your Facebook code.

Both work. A temporary e-mail address is the easiest: there's no country to pick, and the code lands straight in vSMS. A temporary number works too; pick a country rated High in the country list for the best odds.

Recommended

Temporary e-mail

Use the address in Facebook's sign-up form, and the code it sends appears in vSMS.

Temporary number

Pick a country, use the number in Facebook, and the text with the code appears in vSMS.

How it works

Your Facebook code in three steps.

1

Pick Facebook in vSMS

Choose E-mail for an address, or Number and a country for a phone number.

2

Use it on Facebook

Enter the address or number in Facebook's sign-up form, where it asks for a mobile number or e-mail.

3

Confirm with the code

Facebook's code appears in vSMS. If none arrives in time, your credits come back automatically.

Tips

Good to know before you start.

  • Ask Facebook to send the code only once you have the address or number open in vSMS.
  • Ask Facebook for the code once, and give it time to arrive before asking again.
  • Write your password down. A temporary address or number won't be there for a later code.

Facebook questions

Yes. Facebook accepts an e-mail address for sign-up, and vSMS shows the confirmation code it sends to your temporary address.
